What is the scheme?
As part of the Go Cycle project, RBK have launched the Go Cycle loan scheme. As long as you are over 18 and either live, work, or study in Kingston you can be loaned a bicycle for one month - All free of charge. A choice of hybrid, mountain and folding bicycles are availble for both men and women.
You will also be loaned a helmet, lock and lights to get you up and cycling. What’s more, in conjunction with the scheme, we can offer discounted cycle training, on a one to one basis, to get you on your way.
If you are a complete beginner or haven’t cycled for a while, and want to see if it is for you without the barrier of buying a new bicycle, then sign up for the scheme:
Bikes can be collected from Guildhall, Kingston, KT1 1EU
Requests will be read Monday to Friday, and typically a bicycle can be made ready a few days in adavance
Free, but a £50 refundable deposit is neeed.
How to sign up?
To sign up, simply complete the online form here. The team will contact you, as soon as possible, to arrange a date/time/location to pick up the bicycle. This is usually from Guildhall II, KT1 1EU, mon-fri 9am-5pm.
