WHO:
Women on Wheels
WHAT:
A monthly social ride of about 10-12 miles for women living in or near Kingston. Particularly aimed at less confident cyclists and those returning to the saddle after a gap for caring or work responsibilities, but you must be able to ride on public roads. Rides keep mostly to quiet roads with a coffee stop half way and each ride is led by two qualified cycle instructors. Have a look at their album here, to see pictures from previous rides.
RESTRICTIONS:
Women only, of all ages, able to get to central Kingston with your own bike.
WHERE:
We meet in Kingston at the Falling Telephone Boxes outside Wilkinson's at the end of Old London Road. We cycle out along the Thames towpath or to parks along quiet roads.
WHEN:
The last Sunday in each month (except August) whatever the weather except December, starting at 10am and returning about 12.30 to 1pm. This Year's Scheduled rides can be found in our Events Calendar here.
HOW MUCH:
There is no cost except for buying your own refreshments at a cafe.
Booking is not essential but new members are advised to email Eric the week before coming.
